About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on QA professional to build and lead the quality engineering function from the ground up for an innovative technology platform spanning web, mobile, video streaming and AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities

· Build the QA strategy, processes and testing framework from scratch.

· Develop automated tests using Playwright, Cypress or similar tools.

· Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

· Perform manual, exploratory and API testing.

· Establish release, rollback and incident management processes.

· Evaluate AI-powered features, including response accuracy and search quality.

· Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to improve product reliability.

· Track quality metrics and build a QA team as the company grows.

Required Skills & Experience

· 2-6 years of experience in QA, SDET or Test Engineering.

· Proven experience building a QA function from scratch — a key requirement.

· Strong hands-on coding skills in TypeScript or Python.

· Experience with test automation and CI/CD integration.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills.

Good to Have

· OTT/video streaming and connected TV testing.

· AI/LLM testing, RAG evaluation or prompt testing.

· Mobile automation and Google Cloud Platform.

· Experience with feature flags, canary deployments and startup environments.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
