Position: Legal Robotics AI Architect
Location: Remote
Engagement: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a Legal Robotics AI Architect to design and lead AI-powered robotics and automation solutions for the legal industry. The role will focus on combining AI/ML, Generative AI, robotics automation, legal workflows, and enterprise architecture to improve legal research, document processing, compliance, and workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end AI and robotics architecture for legal technology solutions.
Develop AI-powered automation for legal research, document review, contract analysis, case management, and compliance workflows.
Architect LLM, RAG, NLP, computer vision, and intelligent agent solutions for legal use cases.
Integrate AI systems with legal databases, document management systems, case management platforms, and enterprise applications.
Design intelligent robotic/process automation workflows using RPA, APIs, AI agents, and orchestration platforms.
Establish secure and scalable architectures for handling confidential legal data and PII.
Implement AI governance, access controls, auditability, explainability, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Evaluate and optimize AI models for accuracy, relevance, hallucination reduction, and performance.
Lead architecture reviews, technical POCs, solution design, and production implementation.
Collaborate with legal SMEs, data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
10+ years in software, AI/ML, enterprise architecture, or related technology.
Strong experience designing AI/ML and GenAI architectures.
Expertise in LLMs, NLP, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
Experience with Python, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
Knowledge of robotics/RPA, workflow automation, orchestration, and intelligent automation.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP AI/cloud services.
Strong understanding of AI security, data privacy, RBAC, encryption, and governance.
Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and data sources.
Strong architecture documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Legal technology / LegalTech experience.
Experience with legal research, contract lifecycle management, e-discovery, document intelligence, or case management.
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent.
Knowledge of RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
Experience with Knowledge Graphs / Graph RAG.
Familiarity with AI governance and legal/compliance frameworks.
Experience building human-in-the-loop AI systems and production-grade AI platforms.
