AIApply is hiring a AI Engineer, LLM Applications to join our team, fully remote across the United States. AIApply builds AI tools that help millions of people find work faster: automated job applications, resume optimisation, interview preparation and job matching. We are a small, senior team shipping quickly to a very large audience, and this role has direct impact on whether people get hired. About

the role You will design LLM-powered features: resume rewriting, interview preparation, cover letter generation and autonomous application agents. Expect to work on prompt architecture, tool use, evaluation, caching and cost control at production scale.

What you will do Design and ship LLM features from prototype to production. Build evaluation suites that catch regressions before users do. Implement retrieval augmented generation over user and job data. Optimise latency, token cost and caching strategy. Integrate tool use and agentic workflows safely. Stay close to model releases and re-benchmark continuously. What we are looking for 3+ years of software engineering plus hands-on LLM product work. Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic or open-weight model APIs. Strong evaluation mindset, not just prompt intuition. Fluent in TypeScript or Python. Comfortable shipping fast under uncertainty. benefits The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $225,000 + equity. Final offers depend on experience and location within the United States.
