Job description
Role Overview
Harvey’s Legal Engineers are former practising lawyers who bridge customers, sales, and product to support all aspects of our sales strategy and product development. As trusted advisors to the lawyers they work with, they lead sharp discovery and tailored product demonstrations, translating real legal work into Harvey solutions that provide clear value for lawyers.
In Korea, this role is a rare chance to pioneer Harvey’s presence in one of Asia’s most sophisticated legal markets. As a strategic partner to Korean law firms and in-house teams, you will help lawyers do higher-quality work faster and with more confidence using Harvey, and you will thrive in ambiguity while doing it.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with lawyers at current and prospective customers in Korea to uncover workflow pain points, recommend solutions, and show how Harvey fits into real legal work.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, translating feedback and legal workflow insights, including those specific to Korean legal practice and Korean-language needs, into concrete, lawyer-ready product direction.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape Harvey’s roadmap and ensure the product evolves in ways lawyers trust and adopt.
- Build and refine product demonstrations, workflows, and use cases in Korean and English that reflect how Korean legal teams actually work, including how AI is changing that work.
- Introduce new capabilities in a way that’s tailored, credible, and compelling for each customer, continuously raising the bar for how Harvey is deployed.
- Provide competitive and market intelligence on the Korean and wider APAC legal tech landscape.
- Strengthen Harvey’s reputation in Korea and across APAC as a credible, substantive, and forward-looking AI partner to the legal industry.
What You Have
You move confidently through uncertainty, operate at speed, and ship solutions that work, iterating quickly with lawyers, sales teams, and product partners to help Harvey and its customers win. You bring deep curiosity about AI’s potential to transform legal work, a bias towards action, and the creativity to solve problems nobody has cracked yet.
- Based in Seoul and eligible to work in South Korea.
- Korean legal qualification (변호사 자격) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience as a qualified lawyer at a top-tier Korean or international law firm and/or in-house, with strong exposure to complex legal workflows and client expectations.
- Fluency in Korean and English, with the ability to operate seamlessly across both in professional settings.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make confident, well-reasoned recommendations.
- Ability to operate across legal, product, and sales contexts, translating between stakeholders with clarity and precision.
- Executive presence and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging partners, senior associates, in-house counsel, and legal leadership.
- Sales, customer-facing, or law firm business development experience is a plus, particularly where you’ve helped shape solutions rather than just present them.
